44000 Kuala Kubu Baru, Selangor

Situated among a cluster of natural attractions near Kuala Kubu Bharu, such as Bukit Kutu and Chiling Waterfall and Fish Sanctuary, Lata Medang waterfall is a rare gem.

To reach the waterfall, visitors will need to hike up a hill, though the trek is rather easy. Along the way, there are many unique and distinct species of flora to be discovered.

The waterfall itself is breathtaking as it cascades along a gentle slope while the water is shallow and clear. The light rays that peek through the surrounding trees and from above the waterfall give the area an almost ethereal look, enticing visitors to take a dip in the lucid river waters.

The picture-worthy and serene surroundings make Lata Medang a great place to unwind and recharge after a weary day.

Opening hours

Entrance fees

RM1.00 per person imposed by the Orang Asli. A hiking permit is required for nearby Bukit Kutu, but not for Lata Medang. However, it would be good to give Pejabat Hutan Hulu Selangor (Hulu Selangor Forestry Department) a call before your trip to confirm this.
