Kuala Langat‘s Morib Beach has a shoreline spanning approximately 3 km, shaded by whispering Casuarinas and swaying palms.
Dataran Pantai Morib
Part of the beachfront has been converted into a seaside promenade and recreational park, but there are still stretches of sandy beach towards the northern end that extend into the ocean during low tide.
The beachside park here is spacious and equipped with basic facilities, including gazebos and pavilions, playgrounds, gasing (traditional tops) spinning arenas, multi-purpose stages and food stalls.
Popular activities include beach football and volleyball, kite-flying as well as golf at the seaside Sri Morib Golf Club.
Fun Fact
A World War II memorial in Pantai Morib commemorates the landing of the Indian army here on September 1945 as part of Operation Tiderace, involving the liberation of Malaya from the Japanese army. One of the soldiers to land here was Muhammad Zia-ul-haq, who eventually became the 6th president of Pakistan.

How to get to Pantai Morib
Driving is the best way to get here. Morib is about a 20-minute drive from the town of Banting and an hour’s drive from Shah Alam or Klang. Get on the Federal Highway or North Klang Valley Expressway and head to Klang. From Klang, proceed towards Banting before reaching Morib.
